My Philosophy
I see counseling not as fixing people, but as helping people rediscover the strength, resilience, and clarity they already possess. Whether you’re facing trauma, navigating identity, or simply trying to make sense of life’s changes, I aim to meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward hope and wholeness.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in session, I enjoy hiking, biking, working out, painting, and spending time outdoors. I’m passionate about Texas culture and the stories that shape who we are — both individually and collectively.
Hello! I’m Hannah Ashley, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University. With 10 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with Division I collegiate athletes as well as children and adolescents in public school settings. My goal is to create a supportive and effective therapeutic space where you can build resilience, develop coping strategies, and work toward your personal and professional goals.
My professional background includes years of work in social services, including community mental health, CPS and probation, as both a probation officer and mental healthcare provider. Most recently, I've worked as a clinical therapist in Pediatric Palliative Care, allowing me the privilege to support parents during chronic medical complexities as well as end-of-life decision making and bereavement. My background in vastly different therapeutic arenas provide me a unique perspective which allows me to view and support clients holistically. My areas of specialization include grief and bereavement pertaining to the loss of a loved one as well as challenging and often times harmful sexual behaviors by youth and adults.
