Hello and welcome to therapy! I have over ten years of experience working in the social work field and over six years of experience as a licensed therapist. My approach with clients is always to go at their pace and make therapy something they look forward to. One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is being able to make clients comfortable! I think therapy should be a safe place of comfort to process, grieve, and also celebrate the small victories we experience every day.
A highly experienced psychotherapist, he remains compassionate to others and completely focused on patient health and well-being. Dr. Ted Dorfman combines science and compassion to treat and help his patients. He holds 3 academic degrees in Psychology, and has practiced as a licensed psychologist for decades. At the college level he graduated "summa cum laude" and at the doctoral level he graduated "with distinction".
He enjoys these pastimes: helping others, reading nearly all genres, cooking, children, and banana splits. He is an honorably discharged US Army veteran, married with an adult son, and soon expecting a first grandchild. He's pleased with positive relations with his four brothers and three sisters. You will be able to tell he likes and respects people in his life.
He considers it an honor to help you.
Hi there, I'm Darcie! I'm a licensed professional counselor at New Beginnings Virtual Counseling LLC specializing in trauma and PTSD management. I've provided care for over 11 years supporting, teens and adults through grief, substance use, Autism, anxiety, trauma, depression, anger and stress management, and depression.
Through personal grief, I understand that loss is not something you just get over. It changes you. Healing begins with support, time, and space to actively grieve and nurture your wellbeing.
I understand how complicated life can become where one day we stop, look around, and think what happened, how did I get here. Together we can untangle those knots.
