Greetings & welcome. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I offer brief therapy & medication management to adolescents & adults. Medication is not the best fit for everyone & together we can find your path.
I hold a certification in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University & believe that diet, activity and spending time doing what nourishes you, all contribute to healing. Together we can explore your goals & treatment options.
My background includes years of supporting people through profound trauma, loss, and complex life circumstances. I bring a steady, compassionate presence and a deep respect for your story. I meet you where you are and focus on practical, meaningful steps that help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s transitions, struggling with anxiety or depression, or grappling with grief and loss? Maybe you're navigating the challenges of living with or supporting a loved one with addiction. If so, you’ve come to the right place.
I offer a compassionate, honest, supportive and tailored approach to individuals and families seeking therapy. I connect with a diverse population of individuals, from all walks of life and varying ages who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma and family conflict.
Welcome! My name is Kristina Shamp, LCSW. I'm passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Throughout the years of working as a therapist, I have primarily focused on substance use concerns. I have also worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, and issues related to self-esteem and self-worth. My goal for every client is to feel supported and understood - especially during times when they may feel alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hold a Master's in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I’ve spent over 15 years helping individuals strengthen their emotional well-being and reclaim a sense of clarity, purpose, and stability. Reaching out for support is often the hardest step, and the fact that you’re here already speaks to your strength and readiness for change. Over the past decade, my clinical focus has centered on treating anxiety and depression across all ages, with a deep appreciation for how uniquely these struggles show up in each person’s life.
