Hello, my name is Christine Saint-Cyr. I am a Licensed Professional Therapist, and the founder of Healing Den Counseling, a Christ-Centered Mental Health Counseling and Coaching Company based in NJ. I have years of experience working with children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings.
I specialize in adolescents, young adults, and adults. I help develop coping strategies using DBT and CBT skills that produce successful outcomes. As a teacher in the public school systems for over 25 years, I have worked with learning difficulties and social emotional issues caused by all the environmental stressors our generation has to manage.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and real human connection. I believe that no two people are the same, so therapy should not be one-size-fits-all. I work closely with each client to understand their experiences, goals, and strengths, and tailor my approach accordingly.
I tend to be warm, direct, and engaged in sessions. I value honesty and open communication, and I encourage clients to share feedback so we can adjust the process to best meet their needs. Therapy is a space where you should feel safe, respected, and understood.
I draw from a variety of approaches depending on what is most helpful, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gottman methods for couples work. Whether we are working through trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, or life stressors, my goal is to help you gain insight, build practical tools, and move forward in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful.
What can clients expect from their first session with you?People can expect a little break down of helpful ways to "do therapy." If the client is interested, I can give more information about myself, otherwise, depending on the client's comfort level, I will start asking questions about their life from birth to now, their support systems, work, what brought them to seek therapy, and things of that nature to help paint a picture of who they are so I know best how to help.
My name is Stephanie Bailey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults providing trauma informed care in Central/Northern, New Jersey. I have worked with a variety of individuals in various settings involving mental health, education, in-home therapy, and child welfare. My life experiences have fostered my evolution into a practitioner that provides a unique style of therapy that incorporates all domains of your life body, mind, and spirit. I view my work with clients as being very collaborative and enjoy working with clients from various cultural and religious backgrounds. My goal is to help my clients live holistically by guiding them through the process of being present and intentional in all aspects of their daily lives.
