Your goals are what matters- it's your life! Let's help you get to where you want to be!
Headline: Expert Medication Management with a Focus on Brain Health & Transformation
As a Doctorate-prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/DNP), I provide more than just prescriptions—I provide a roadmap for neuroplastic change. I specialize in expert medication management, but my philosophy is rooted in the belief that the brain is capable of profound transformation when science meets a holistic perspective.
In addition to my clinical practice, I teach the science of neuroplasticity, helping individuals understand how to "rewire" their patterns for lasting mental wellness. Whether we are adjusting your medication or exploring lifestyle shifts, my goal is to bridge the gap between complex neuroscience and your daily lived experience. I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach to help you move beyond symptom management toward true healing.
I’m Amanda, and I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up exactly as they are. I bring warmth, authenticity, and even a bit of humor into the room when it feels right. I want you to feel genuinely seen—not judged—and supported in whatever you’re working through.
I’ve been in the counseling field for over 15 years and hold a PhD in Counselor Education from the University of Tennessee. My experience ranges from private practice and telehealth to correctional mental health, hospitals, and leadership roles in community programs. A. Simms Resume copy
