It doesn't have to be this way.

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Licensed Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapist (LMFT).
I've worked with clients in all walks of life, with many different therapy goals. A few common themes that consistently walk through my door are anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, and depression.
I typically use a blend of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Let's face it: life can be an absolute rollercoaster. Sometimes you're coasting smoothly, and sometimes you're staring straight down a terrifying drop. If you're feeling overwhelmed by a crisis, suffocated by anxiety or depression, tangled up in family issues, or burned out by occupational stress, you don't have to white-knuckle it alone.
I’m Tawny Meyers, and I specialize in meeting people exactly where they are—especially when they feel like they're standing in the middle of a messy pile of problems. I believe the most effective therapy is built on a foundation of genuine connection, warmth, and, yes, a little bit of humor. We’ll definitely laugh sometimes, because let's be honest, if we can't find a way to laugh, we're probably crying.
