I have been on my own healing journey since childhood and have mastered a variety of therapies to support others on their own journeys. My specialized treatments include Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I grew up in Northern California and completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
in Social Work at California State University, Chico. I am an Air Force Veteran and currently working on my doctorate.
A New leaf therapy is a group practice in Pueblo Colorado with many therapists and styles.
I have been a therapist for 25 years and am currently licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming. My primary emphasis has been in the realm of grief and loss issues (death of a loved one, unresolved grief, job loss, loss of health, loss of meaning, etc.), women's issues, lifespan issues, depression, reactivity, complex PTSD, and relationship counseling. I have an unusual approach to these issues, including a belief in a certain degree of warmth as being healing in the therapeutic relationship.
I attended Northeastern University and graduated with a BA in Sociology in 2008 and then attended Wheelock College Boston University and received a Masters in Social Work in 2012. As your psychotherapist I use an integrated mind-body approach to allow you to have the space to identify areas of concern and goals to work towards.

With my background in grief support, disability advocacy and hospice/palliative care I am poised to support you on your journey. If you are experiencing grief, depression, anxiety or fatigue, my affirming and authentic approach may be just what you need.
Imagine standing on the edge of a cliff, the weight of the world pressing down on you. The pressures of society, unresolved wounds, and life’s demands can feel overwhelming, like a daily battle with depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts.
I have learned every client is unique. My therapy approach is about stepping back from that edge, finding solid ground, and understanding your life’s story. It’s not just about treating symptoms but exploring your journey, with empathy and no judgment. Together, we’ll build resilience and help you reconnect with what gives your life meaning.
